Wedding Photography by Greg Wolcott

Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you will make as you plan your special day.

You know your wedding is one of the most important events in your life. It is your day to shine. It is a day of love, of sharing, and a day of celebration.

As you ‘shop around’ for a wedding photographer, you will hear some phrases that people use to describe their style…’Photojournalism’, ‘modern’, ‘cutting edge’, ‘traditional’ and more. But it can get confusing, because even though two (or twenty!) photographers might use the same words to describe their style, their final results will be drastically different!

I will capture your special day using a variety of techniques, and highlight your day using my personal style of wedding photography (which, for the record, I would consider to be a photojournalism style).  I believe that the photographs you will treasure forever should be as unique as you are. They should represent your own individuality. Every time you look at them, they should make you recall the exciting memories of your day.

After your wedding and usually within two weeks (just in time for you to recover!), you will see your photos for the first time. One of my favorite things to hear from a bride and groom is how terrific it is to see so many things they missed from their wedding – candid shots of guests crying during the ceremony, laughing in the receiving line, and getting funky at the reception or celebration feast.

I love that my photos can give the groom a seat on the 50-yard line for the wedding morning at the bride’s. I like to be able to show the bride what was really going on with the boys while she was putting on her gown! It’s my goal for you to be able to relive your day whenever you want, through your wedding photographs.

So let’s find out if my style and personality fit your vision of a wedding photographer. I offer packages to fit almost every budget. Contact me to discuss yours, and to view samples of my work. You will usually find a couple of wedding posts on the blog, but unless it is requested, I rarely post about private events. I can also provide you with some references to speak with so you can get a ‘bride’s eye view’ of how I work!
