About Greg Wolcott

Hi! Thanks for visiting! I am the managing photographer for Five Pines Photography and the owner of Event Photography by Greg Wolcott (catchy, huh?), both of which are nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in Northern New York State.
I am a wedding, event, and fine art photographer and I photograph many types of events, from weddings and parties to corporate events and fitness events like 5Ks. I love to work with charity and nonprofit organizations to help raise money through photography sales. Most recently, I have worked with several NYRA Backstretch Employee charities, as well as raising money for Grooms Tavern in Clifton Park, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and Hannah’s Hope Fund.
I have been lucky enough to have had my photographs featured in a variety of trade magazines. Some of my commercial projects have included a pictoral study of the Mexican Baja Peninsula, a photographic history of family farms in Western New York State and a project featuring the architecture of the past and future on the ever evolving Las Vegas Strip. I also create and sell fine and decorative photographic art. My sister is a very talented paint artist, and she struggles to believe that photography can be ‘fine art’, but I think I’m winning her over!
You can visit me on the web at www.gregwolcott.com. From there you can take a look at what I’m up to, or browse around at my sales website and my fine and decorative art gallery. All the prints you will find there are limited to 20 printings and are numbered and signed.
So enjoy your visit and leave a comment or drop me an email! I’d love to hear your thoughts! And I love seeing what other people think is interesting looking, so drop me a line if you see something that might look neat in a photograph!
